What visitors say

Lesley Pratap

We do enjoy walking tours when we visit a different town or city and were pleasantly surprised to find that the walking tour was available on Easter Sunday. Julia was an excellent guide for our very small group, just us and another couple. She gave us a great combination of history and local information about various aspects of Salisbury in a friendly but professional way. The pace of the tour was good and we found many interesting places we might have missed by ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

We did the 90min Salisbury walking tour with James. The tour was exceptionally good. James is very knowledgeable and made it interesting with his enthusiasm for history and knowledge. Highly recommend.

We had a great tour with Phil Richards that ended up being just me and my husband and our wiggly toddler. Having just a short time to spend in Salisbury, it was a great overview of the city that started with some info at the visitor centre, and explored the heart of the city and ended with the Cathedral. Highlights include the Doom painting in St Thomas, the cinema with a much much older history, and a lot of other places we would have walked by or missed the history of!
