About Wykeham Grange Farm Certificated Location
Tucked into the North Yorkshire countryside near Scarborough, Wykeham Grange Farm is an adults-only Certificated Location that keeps things refreshingly simple. With electric hook-ups, drinking water and WiFi on tap, it's geared toward self-sufficient tourers who appreciate a peaceful, no-frills pitch. Dogs are welcome, and the site stays open all year for those who fancy an off-season escape.
The lack of on-site showers, toilets or waste disposal means you'll need to arrive fully equipped, but that stripped-back approach is part of the appeal for caravanners seeking tranquility over facilities. Its excellent Google rating reflects the warm welcome and quiet rural setting—ideal if you're exploring the North York Moors or the coast and want a hassle-free base that doesn't overcomplicate the weekend.

What visitors say
Just come home after the most lovely 6 night stay here in our caravan. Hosts are lovely, leave you to it but there if you need them and are super helpful. It’s a really peaceful CL with fabulous views. Wykeham forest is nearby which is perfect for a walk with the dogs. We were sad to leave this morning and already planning on going back!

Excellent site. Really big pitches. Really good views from the pitches. We are returning at Easter and can't wait. Update: 6 years later, and we still call this place our second home. New additions : farm shop with essentials you might have forgotten. Animals: 2 sheep 🐑, pepper the 🐖 pig and we musnt forgot the girls, all the chickens 🐔. James and Sarah as always are excellent. So friendly and helpful.

If you want peace and quite, no "transport" noises of any sort ,this is for you. What I would call a "tip and tap" 5 van site with electric. Hard standing, no other facilities. Great open view from every pitch. Lovely site owners. Almost half the price of the nearest commercial site. 5 miles from Scarborough inland. Lots to visit within 20 miles radius as the crow flies. Sunrise and sunsets to die for. We will be back.

Fabulous little gem of a place, the shepherds hut had everything we needed and the little coffee and tea with a really cute milk bottle was a lovely touch. Hosts are fabulous, really care about their guests, and nothing was too much trouble. The shepherds huts are so lovely and have everything you need for a relaxing break. Really peaceful place to have a lovely break, 7 miles from Scarborough so well placed to get to Scarborough. Pub 1 Mile down the road, however having the fire pit meant we made the most of our second night there which really made the break for us. Highly recommend, the views are amazing and it's so peaceful, enjoying a morning coffee watching the pheasants and rabbits running around can't be beat, and looking forward to going back in July, will be regulars here as everything is what you could ask for to escape from it all. Only recommendations maybe options to purchase a kindling pack on site and perhaps the possibility to pre order some special touches like a bottle of fizz chilled for arrival, other than that the place is perfect.
