Yederick Barn

Sawdon sits on the edge of the North York Moors, within half an hour of the Yorkshire coast and surrounded by moorland and forest. Yederick Barn is a converted sandstone building here, detached and set back from the village, offering the whole place to yourself. The property is single-storey throughout, with everything arranged on the ground floor apart from the bedroom, which is four steps up.

The living space combines a sitting area with dining and kitchen zones in one open room. You have a smart TV, a futon that unfolds into a single bed for a third guest, a drop-leaf table for meals, and a bookcase with games. The kitchen comes with an electric hob and oven, microwave, air fryer, and full-sized fridge. The double bedroom sits upstairs with built-in storage. A shower cubicle and toilet complete the bathroom. Outside there is a patio with seating, and parking for one car on the driveway. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and heating are all included. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted.

The barn works well for a couple or small family wanting to base themselves in North Yorkshire for coastal visits or walking on the moors. Sawdon Timber is nearby. Arrive after 3pm and depart before 10am.
