Hackness Grange

Beautiful grounds to hold your special occasion. Very friendly, professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect venue for a romantic wedding. We had a fantastic time. Very chilled and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

No doubt if your looking here , you've either been invited to a wedding here or are thinking of booking for your own wedding reception..... I was staying here for a wedding recpetion A good few miles out in the wilderness from the town . Its a beautiful complex, with multiple guest rooms , courtyard, bars and lobbies. Parking is free and is somewhat generous outside of the main hall. Phone signal is a little patchy here but wifi is provided. The rooms are small but cosy and decorated nicely/clean. The staff here are extremely well organised and very friendly. For example the 3 food courses all came out at the same time and the tables were all in sequence. When we left for the dining room to turned into the dance hall it didn't take too long at all and a buffet was provided during the later part of the night. Nice selection of drinks at the bars, prices are londonfied .... Breakfast in the morning was also well organised and delicious with your usual selection of cereals and bread including a hot menu which could be ordered and served tableside. The countryside views are the icing on the cake and I cant really find any fault with hackness grange except to say that check in is at 3pm and checkout is at 10am which is a little harsh

There are far too many things to say about the incredible staff and venue of Hackness Grange. From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, the staff and coordinators at Hackness Grange were nothing short of exceptional. We worked with so many of the staff but have to give a very special shout out to Charlotte and Francesca and the team who helped make our day the unforgetable experince it was. Also a special shout out to the night manager Karoly who made sure that at no point were either of us emptyhanded with drinks. An idilylic venue and excpetional people make Hackness Grange what it is and we cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us. We cannot wait to come back and visit again! Thank you for allowing us to incorporate so many odd and unusual things and traditions into our day, we cannot begin to express how grateful we are for your kindness and willingness to go with our rather insane vision. I don’t have enough words to explain how perfect and wonderful myself and my new wife Ellora’s day went at Hackness for our wedding. Eibhlin was wonderful from start to finish (prepping and the day itself). If she is your co-ordinator for your big day, you’d needn’t not worry! We adore everything she’s done and about her. Even the staff on the grounds, to the reception team, kitchen staff and evening staff, we can’t thank you enough for helping and making our day one we won’t forget. Hackness is THE venue to be married at!
