Heathfield is a detached cottage in the Scottish Borders, positioned within reach of Denholm village and surrounded by the rolling landscape that makes the region worth visiting. The Teviot valley offers fishing, cycling routes thread through the hills, and walking trails start from the property itself—Ruberslaw Wild Woods is nearby for those after more structured woodland paths. Hawick and Jedburgh are close enough for a day trip to their museums and historical sites, or to follow the routes that inspired Walter Scott.
Inside, the cottage has one double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The ground floor is open plan: a living area with a woodburner, dining space, and kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. Outside there is decked seating, grassed garden (note: the deck sits above the garden with steps down), and parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The cottage does not permit smoking.
