Melgund Glen Lodge
Scottish Borders
Melgund Glen Lodge is a single-storey property on the edge of Denholm village, surrounded by mature trees with a lawned garden and sitting-out area. The whole place sits at ground level: a living room with an open fire (logs included), a kitchen/dining space with a full range of appliances, three bedrooms, a bathroom with shower over the bath, and a separate toilet. One double, one double, and two singles sleep five between them. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all provided, along with heating and electricity. There is private parking for three cars and a bike store. One dog stays free of charge.
The garden includes an unfenced stream 20 yards away and an unfenced pond further back, so families should supervise children in these areas. Denholm itself—a conservation village with greens, pubs and a restaurant—is within walking distance. The wider Borders offer Kelso and Melrose with their castles and abbeys, Minto Golf Course half a mile away, fishing on the Teviot and Tweed, forest trails at Glentress, and hill walks across quiet countryside. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
