Stonebank House

Stonebank House is a detached family home near Berwick-upon-Tweed, positioned to take in sea views across the Scottish Borders landscape. The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and television, a dining room with sofa bed, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave. A utility room has a washing machine. Upstairs are four bedrooms: two doubles (each 4ft 6in), two rooms with pairs of single beds (3ft). Two bathrooms serve the house, one an ensuite to the main bedroom. One dog or cat is welcome, and bed linen comes as standard; logs for the woodburner and fibre broadband are included too. There is parking for two cars on site, with further spaces available on the road outside.

The immediate area offers food and shops within two miles. Beaches lie four miles away, and the town itself—ringed by Elizabethan walls—has restaurants, a railway station, and access to Edinburgh by train in under an hour. Boat trips and seal-watching can be arranged from nearby Eyemouth and St Abbs. Holy Island is also within reach. A stream runs through the garden, which has furniture for sitting out. No smoking indoors; a travel cot is available if needed.
