About Lodge Park
Tucked between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland, Lodge Park is a spacious, laid-back site where you choose your own pitch and settle into the peace. The facilities are clean and well cared for—the limestone toilet block even has underfloor heating for those crisp Yorkshire evenings—and the welcoming owners keep things relaxed and affordable. Dogs are welcome year-round, with plenty of paths leading into woodland and out towards the area's famous caves and waterfalls.
Walkers are spoiled: the Yorkshire Three Peaks trailhead is ten minutes by car, while Settle—a handsome market town with stone cottages, cafés, pubs and independent shops—is five minutes away. The heritage Settle–Carlisle railway runs nearby for a scenic alternative to boots-on-ground exploring, and Settle & Giggleswick Golf Club beckons those after a gentler afternoon. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places, but the generous space, quiet atmosphere and superb location more than compensate.

What visitors say
Great location close to Settle so lots of options for eating and drinking. We done 2 great walks from the site on our stay. Bit lacking in facilities - 2 toilets and 2 showers each for male and female. Problem is that the block is at the top of the site so if you are in the camping fields there is a fair walk. We stayed mid-week when chilly and wet so not many people so no issues with capacity but at busier times this should be something to take note of. A number of portaloos dotted around the camping fields but they had not been emptied since the previous weekend - we did see them being emptied on the Thursday morning when we were leaving. I guess at busy times they may do this more regularly. Good stay overall. Beautiful views. With a bit more investment and effort this would a 5 star spot.

This campground offered the flattest field we have seen thus far compared to other ‘farm’ sites. The men’s shower had quite warm water. However, the porta-potty nearest our tent didn’t have sufficient draining fluid flow, the main washrooms were very dirty and had no toilet paper. There are no tables. We have averaged 10£ per person (4 bikepackers with 3 tiny tents), so 25£ per tent seemed relatively expensive.

Beautiful spot to spend the weekend. Really felt for the owner though as we were camping during storm Dave.....or David.....or someone?! Thanks for looking after us when North Yorkshire's yearly rain dumped down on the field and made it tricky to get off. You were really up against it mate but made sure everyone was looked after. Definitely coming back when it's better weather. Thanks Pete & Nic

Had a lovely one night stay at this campsite, really laid-back no stupid strict rules, very quiet and peaceful throughout the night. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone. Cheers Jack. Well done!
