About Harts Head Hotel
Free on-site parking is not something every town-centre inn can offer, but Harts Head Hotel on Belle Hill in Settle manages it, along with a garden and outdoor seating for those who want to sit outside after a day on the Dales' footpaths. The hotel keeps things straightforward: a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast included, and packed lunches available for anyone heading out walking. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in room, and there are accessible rooms for guests who need them.
Pets are welcome, and kids' meals are available, making this a reasonably practical base for families or those travelling with a dog. Free WiFi and 24 hour reception cover the basics, and there's a walking area close by for stretching your legs without going far.
Settle itself puts golf, a pub or bar, and further restaurants and eateries within easy reach, along with local entertainment options. It's a settled, no-frills choice for exploring Settle and the wider Yorkshire Dales on foot.
