About Whitley Hall Hotel
Whitley Hall Hotel is a Grade II listed manor house dating back to the sixteenth century, set within twenty acres of gardens, woodland and a small lake on the edge of Grenoside, a short drive north of Sheffield city centre. Resident peacocks and waterfowl roam the grounds, giving the hotel a genuinely rural feel despite its proximity to the city.
The thirty-two bedrooms are individually decorated in a classic country house style, several featuring four-poster beds, Juliet balconies or views across the lake and grounds, and the hotel's restaurant makes use of its setting with a menu built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
It suits visitors after a quieter, more traditional stay than the city centre offers, whether for a weekend break, a wedding or simply a peaceful base within easy reach of both Sheffield and the Peak District.

Came along with friends yesterday to the Glass'n'Berry event. Such good value, three superb music performances who got us up dancing. A brilliant magician who came around groups of people and did some incredible tricks. A box filled with an afternoon tea, a few free drinks - all included in the ticket price. It began around 2.30pm and we left at 7.15pm and there were people still up dancing. Staff were lovely and attentive-we all enjoyed it and a great turn out. A must for next year!!

Lovely experience at Whitley Hall today for a last minute tea out. We sat outside on the beautiful terrace. Excellent service from all members of staff and a beautiful meal. It reminded us that we need to go more often! Definitely recommend.

We had our wedding here in March and it was the most beautiful day. All the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable and the venue itself was amazing. We truly had the wedding of our dreams. Our coordinator on the day was Amanda and she was truly incredible, she couldn't do enough for us both, the day went so smoothly due to her and she thought of everything - there were so many times she fluffed my dress without me realising it, or set things up perfectly. Thank you to everyone there

Attended here for my Aunties wedding. Fantastic staff, great service and a lovely building. Had a lovely time. The pond in the back is really nice. The food was great. The drinks are a little expensive. But overall I highly recommend!
