Wonderful! We are coming again! The pickled Melon and the pickled cherry tomatoes are divine! The sea bass is out of this world and I cannot recommend all the handmade dough dishes enough. We have not tried the meat but what we saw on other tables let us guess how good those are!

We had such a lovely evening at TATAR BUNAR, especially as we were celebrating a friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for a special occasion without feeling too formal. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, which really added to the experience. The food was genuinely impressive. We ordered the Buckwheat dip with lumpfish roe and mustard, a selection of varenyks including the minced beef & lamb varenyks and fried mushroom varenyks, as well as the Chicken hearts, Besarabian village salad, and Banoush with ox cheeks. Every dish felt fresh, well prepared and full of flavour. The buckwheat dip was rich and slightly nutty, paired beautifully with the roe. The varenyks were comforting and well balanced, with great texture. The ox cheeks were especially memorable, very tender and full of depth, while the chicken hearts were surprisingly enjoyable and nicely cooked. Overall, it was a great way to experience Ukrainian cuisine in a more refined setting. The food, service and atmosphere all came together to make it a really enjoyable birthday celebration. Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely delicious! Ukrainian cuisine with a twist. Attention to the details, beautiful crockery and pottery, great service. We ordered many things and shared - I recommend doing the same, because reading the menu one wants to taste it all. Smoked sour cream was an absolute hit, add so much flavour to the dishes.

Tatar Bunar is genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was attentive and exemplary from start to finish — warm, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed without ever feeling intrusive. The ambience is welcoming and comforting, the kind of place you can properly relax and enjoy your evening. The food was simply out of this world. Every dish was spot on, from the rye bread right through to the rib eye shashlik. A special mention to the pickled tomatoes — absolutely incredible and easily my favourite. This has quickly become my new favourite place. Highly recommended.
