The hotel has 224 rooms across five floors, each with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and drinks available in-room. What guests say
It's a good hotel for a few days in London. Perfect location close to Old Street station. Rooms are rather basic but still good, one downside being that the bed is too soft. We had a street-facing room and were not disturbed y the noise. Heating system worked fine, nothing to complain. Breakfast is plain and not varied but it's still better than nothing and for a continental breakfast is good enough (cereals, pastries, milk). Would recommend for a non-pretentious short stay.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Additionally the hotel is situated perfectly, close to restaurants, bars and public transport. However the rooms aren't the cleanest and have a few maintenance issues which could be improved. Unfortunately the rooms also lack safes for your valuables.

Stayed here a few times before for business and always consistent. Room is good, even facing road it's not too noisy with the triple glazing. Not used it myself, but nice touch with the complimentary smartphone for use during your stay. Really nice, large shower. Breakfast isn't amazing, but good to get it at least and this is an 'express' not a standard holiday inn, so to be expected. Saying that Croissants are really good!

Stayed here for a week. Nice staff. Our room was a bit small and not many room amenities. However, it was clean and comfortable. Nice location, just a short walk from the tube station and free breakfast in the morning was also a plus. Would stay here again.
