Nearly really liked it. Just needed a good dusting and a tidy away of all the building mess in the hallway. Plus we booked a bigger room online than the one we were given. Bar staff were friendly and the bar was cool with good drinks. Bed was super comfy. Would still stay again and would rate good if it was less dusty. (Set off my asthma). The info card in the room needs updating and our room had no 'do not disturb' sign like others did. Bannister is a little low it your a bit tipsy so beware! Shower was lovely.

The man that showed me in was so swift, clear and kind. And there were lots of clear instructions if we needed anything/where we can get assistance etc. And the room was spotless, clean, and so comfortable. You can tell that it is kept at a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a simple room with everything i needed and more. I really do feel like i got the best value for my money and i will be staying again when i need to!

It would of been nice to have a bar like in the pictures, but was closed . You get booked in on the pavement? No reception, no dining, no staff. This is NOT a hotel, it's a room with an aged bathroom, clean I must add. The kettle is on a base and did not stop boiling, you have to pick it up and off, but was far too hot to do so had to unplug it. The room was small , big bed ,not much space. This place does not at all fit the description advertised, a phone number in place for emergency. But is right opposite to the railway a plus . Will not stay here again .

Me and my sister stayed here over the weekend- we travelled from Glasgow on the Thursday night and arrived in Shrewsbury at 7am on the Friday- at half 11 we called to try our luck and see if we could check in as check In was 3pm and we where exhausted, got told to call back at 2pm but within 10 minutes of hanging the phone up we was called to say our room was ready, greeted with Amanda at the front door and shown to our room! A few bits wrong in the room I.e our sink was cracked and the curtain rail wasn’t in the wall properly. We could still use the sink and still able to close the curtains. I must say though the bed was the comfiest bed I think I’ve ever had in a hotel and the pressure of the shower was fantastic! Will be back next year
