What guests say
This hotel has a great location in Slough and is close to a large Tesco Store and the train station. Compared to other Residence Inns I have stayed at, the rooms are smaller and the kitchens aren’t equipped as well. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was great, but some variety would be nice from morning to morning. This hotel is tied into another hotel called the Moxy. All of the access and checkin and out was done at the Moxy. There is no parking lot at the property, so I had to park several blocks away. The restaurant Jims was interesting and had a strange menu. We finally were able to find a pizza on their menu to eat. It was really good after we were able to make changes to some of the ingredients. We had dinner at the Moxy Bar one evening and is excellent. Maybe in Britain this is a 4 Star Hotel, but in the USA it would be 2.5 to 3 Star Property.

Excellent Stay at a Highly Recommended Hotel What i Liked : Firstly, I must commend the reception staff, especially Ms. Tais, who is the kindest person I encountered not only in the hotel but throughout my entire stay in London. She was incredibly helpful, consistently kind, and always greeted me with a warm smile. The room itself was another highlight; it was spacious, well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, and even exceeded my expectations in some areas. Additionally, I was very pleased with the coffee machines and the wide variety of coffee options available, which added a delightful touch to my stay. What i Disliked : Despite the positive aspects, there were a few areas that I found disappointing. The lighting in the room was inadequate, creating a dim and somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere. The breakfast offered limited options, which I found surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Another issue was the lack of a proper drop-off area in front of the hotel due to a bus lane, which caused several inconveniences with Uber drivers; the hotel should consider establishing a designated area for taxis and rideshare services. Additionally, the television in my room was not functioning, and the internet connection was occasionally slow, which impacted my overall experience.

The location in the city center is excellent. The staff are friendly, cooperative, and very patient in answering questions. The room is also a good size and clean. However, there are some downsides. I was told that my room would have a street view, but I was surprised to find that it was facing buildings instead. When I raised this, I was informed that no alternative was available and that I had to accept what was given. Additionally, only two bottles of water were provided, and they were not replenished the next day. I was told I would need to purchase more either from the hotel for €7 or from outside. The breakfast options are limited and seem to change based on availability.

The room was spacious and clean. I am quite satisfied. They share the same reception as Moxy. The bar and food there were quite good. We wondered during the World Cup they were playing the football match there which was a plus for us.
