About Travelodge Slough

Slough is known for its trading estate and business parks, and for being a quick run along the M4 towards Windsor, which makes it a practical base for work trips or short stays in the area. Travelodge Slough sits on Landmark Place, close to the motorway and the estate, with easy onward access to Windsor and the surrounding towns.

The hotel has 156 rooms spread across eight floors, all en-suite, with accessible rooms available and a lift serving every level. Rooms are kept simple and functional rather than plush, in keeping with the budget format, and complimentary Wi-Fi is limited rather than unrestricted. There's a restaurant on site, drinks available in the room, and 24-hour reception, plus an electric vehicle charge point for those travelling by car.

Pets are welcome, which suits guests travelling with animals, and there's chargeable parking nearby at the Herschel Street car park, a short walk from the hotel, though it closes overnight. A pub, bar and further restaurants can be found nearby for evening options beyond the hotel itself.

I must say this hotel was horrible. Incredibly disgusting rooms like mold or other interesting liquids around the room not to mention that the room was constantly boiling. On the other hand the breakfast was pretty okay and it’s relatively close to the Elizabeth line (it take’s roughly 40minutes to central London). Also the hotel decided to change the locks on all floors and we had to change our room cards like four times.

Exactly what you'd expect. Room was clean, but rough around the edges. The staff were very friendly. The price was good. It's very convenient for an early morning Heathrow flight. There is a small carpark behind the hotel wich is only £4 overnight from 9pm.

Stayed here recently and it was a bit of a mixed bag to be honest. The location is handy enough for what we needed but there were a few things that really let it down during the stay. The main issue was just how noisy it was. It didnt feel very peaceful at all and it was quite hard to get to sleep with people moving around and doors banging constantly. Its what you expect from a budget hotel sometimes I guess but it was still pretty annoying when your trying to rest. Then to top it all off the fire alarms went off at 23:00 at night! We all had to get out and it was a right mess standing around waiting in the cold. Apparently they have quite a lot of long stay guests living at this hotel and the smoke alarm went off in one of those rooms. People were sayinf it was because of someone cooking or something. Not exactly what you want when your finally about to drop off! Overall it was okay for the price but the noise and the late night alarm made it a bit of a struggle.

Report back from one of our employees: Parking: Parking at Buckingham Gardens is really convenient and literally just around the corner (less than 100 yards) from the Hotel. I was extremely lucky both times to get a Parking spot, its quite small (around 50 spaces). Although I saw somewhere it was pay by app only...you can use the Ring Go app or pay at the machine. If you can't get a space there, there is another car park Multi Storey immediately opposite on Herschel Street. Room and Noise. Top floor on 7th...noise as previously mentioned in other reviews could be a constant hum of the air cons from other buildings in the block. Its there in the background but if you lock on to it I can see how it could annoy. Room : Quite clean, no noise in the corridor over 2 nights. I found it funny how the bathroom door jams against the toilet seat (see pic). 😆. Measured too precise I guess. Shower OK first morning, luke warm 2nd. Food: Limited menu but OK. Stella and Guinness available and good atmosphere. Larry, the American bar tender/waiter extremely friendly and an asset to the Hotel. Hope this helps. On the whole I found it quite good.
