Apple Cottage sits on the edge of Shepton Mallet, where the landscape opens to fields and the Somerset coast lies within easy reach. The village of Lympsham is a half-mile walk away, home to a shop, a pavilion with a licensed bar and restaurant, and cricket on the green in summer. Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and Brean Sands are all about 15 minutes' drive off, while Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Exmoor National Park sit within an hour or so.
The cottage is arranged upside-down: downstairs holds a double bedroom, a bunk room (sleeping two), a family bathroom and separate toilet, plus a fitted kitchen and dining area. Upstairs, the living room has views across the fields to the village, along with a DVD player, books and games. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and wi-fi are provided. A rear garden with seating and private parking for one car complete the setup. One well-behaved pet stays free. The cottage does not permit smoking, and is not suitable for children under 6 years.

Beautiful little cottage set at the far end of a no through lane, which means no passing traffic Hot tub beautifully accessible. Lovely little wood burner could do with a little TLC but works well. Wood provided All in all fantastic place for two couples or a family of four or couple on your own. Well stocked, kitchen dishwasher, washing machine. Iron ironing board, plenty of cutlery and crockery We had a fantastic stay!

Lovely little cottage with a very private garden surrounded by countryside views. Very well equipped kitchen and utility room. A 15/20 walk away from an artisan farm shop and a short drive away from bigger supermarkets.

We have just come back from here and the house and surrounding area is beautiful. Was so peaceful and quiet and my dogs really enjoyed the garden! Hot tub lovely. Would definitely want to book again. Spa 10 mins away and I had the pool to myself which was nice. Owners of the house were very helpful when we needed them.
