The Steading Stone

The Somerset coast and Weston-super-Mare are within reach, but The Steading Stone sits far enough back into rural countryside to feel properly removed. The main house contains five bedrooms and a further ground-floor annex with one more, making twelve beds across the whole property. There's parking for four cars and an enclosed garden with a stream running through it.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, opening onto a dining area that seats twelve. Ground-floor living spaces include a lounge with a fireplace and television, a family room with doors that close it off, and a smaller sitting area—enough separate zones that guests can split into groups without feeling cramped. Upstairs are the five main bedrooms, all doubles or king-size, with five bathrooms between them. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided as standard.

The garden is the real draw: there's an outdoor hot tub, an outdoor television for summer evenings, and plenty of space to spread out. One dog is welcome. The property does not permit smoking. It works as a lockable whole—your own place for a week or weekend with a large group of friends or family.
