Primrose is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage at Bincombe Country Cottages, a small cluster of newly built holiday homes near Over Stowey, just outside Bridgwater. Walk through the front door and both bedrooms are immediately to hand on the ground floor, each with an ensuite and a zip-and-link bed that converts into singles if needed. Bedroom 2 also has a third single bed. Upstairs, the open-plan living space spans the full width of the property—kitchen, dining area and lounge all flowing together, with French doors opening onto a balcony that overlooks the gardens and takes in views across the north Somerset coast.
The kitchen is equipped for real cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized fridge. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. Outside, the property has an enclosed front garden with seating and a barbecue, plus a back garden where your private hot tub sits ready for four people. There's parking for two cars on site, and a shared electric car charging point available at cost. One dog can stay free of charge. The Quantock Hills, designated England's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, rise immediately behind; Exmoor National Park and the north Somerset coast are both within reach for walking and cycling. No smoking inside.

My family recently stayed at the Foxglove Cottage (part of Bincombe Cottages) and it was the loveliest place to relax together. The accommodation is well designed and the amenities made it really easy to travel with a baby and a dog. Highly recommend!

My family stayed at these beautiful cottages for a family event. Very clean and of high spec . Nice touch of cupcakes and a bottle of bubbly from the host (Jackie) that was left for my niece who had a big birthday. Nothing was too much for Jackie, we had a warm welcome and would highly recomend these cottages. We would definately book again without any hesitation.

We absolutely loved our stay at Primrose Cottage! It’s a beautiful upside-down house with the most incredible views, truly something special. The home itself was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Jackie, our host, was wonderful and baked the most amazing cakes at a very reasonable price... such a lovely touch! You can also order homely hot meals, which sounded delicious (we’ll definitely try them next time). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for soaking while enjoying the scenery. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend Primrose Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway!
