Braeburn

Braeburn is a converted coach house with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, arranged across two levels. It sleeps four people: one bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other two singles. The essentials are covered—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided, along with initial fuel for the wood burner and a welcome pack. You get private parking for one car and sole use of the property.

The ground floor contains the living and dining space, which has a wood-burning stove, Smart TV and doors out to the garden. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine. Downstairs there's a shower room with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs, both bedrooms sit under the eaves with original wooden beams; theatrical curtains between them add an unusual touch. Outside, an enclosed garden has a patio, seating areas and furniture, plus a private hot tub for four.

The property suits couples, friends or groups wanting a countryside base in Somerset. Children under 12 are not accommodated here. Two steps lead to the entrance. Check-in is after 4pm, checkout before 10am.
