About Croscombe Camping
Croscombe Camping sits within reach of Glastonbury Tor, one of Somerset's most recognisable landmarks, visible from the site across open countryside. The campground takes tents, glamping units and static pods or lodges, with spacious pitches that feel more like wild camping than conventional caravan park plots. Showers and flushing toilets are on site, and campfires are permitted.
The village of Croscombe is close enough to walk to. Glastonbury itself, famous for its tor, abbey ruins and high street of independent shops and cafes, is within driving distance and attracts visitors year-round. The peaceful setting and views across the fields make it a base for exploring the Somerset Levels and the surrounding countryside on foot or by car.

What visitors say
A very beautiful, spacious and quiet camping site with a stunning view over the hills and Glastonbury Tor. Nice hot showers and toilets are sheltered in a barn where you can also gather to eat and wash your dishes. If you look for wildcamping feeling, this is your site. We came during a windy time, which was really struggling for our tent. As the site is located uphill, slight winds might occur regularly. So better use a strong tent. However, this is a great place, and the solitude up there is just wonderful. Electricity is not provided on the entire site.

The site is a remote field on a hill overlooking the beautiful countryside. For anyone looking for a remote get away this site is perfect! You can pop into wells or the nearby village a short drive away for local shops etc. The provision of wood and fireplaces was a nice addition! Made the evenings cosy while looking at the view. The site has three toilets, three showers and ONE tap which functions as BOTH the washing up tap and drinking water tap for the ENTIRE site. The tap is COLD only! So washing up required boiling water. However, showers provide hot water. During the peak bank holiday weekend they had 25+ groups staying so struggled with this.

unexpectedly breathtaking views! Quite and peaceful. Incredible walks all around right from the site - woods an abandoned quarry and old railway viaduct to explore!
