West Compton sits within reach of good dog-walking country, and the cottage itself welcomes one pet at no extra cost. The village has the basics nearby, and from here you can reach Glastonbury, Wells and the wider Somerset landscape without a long drive. A converted 16th-century barn, Midsummer Cottage has everything on one floor: a bedroom with a kingsize bed, a shower room, and a living space that combines dining and sitting areas with a sofa bed that sleeps an extra guest.
The kitchen is set up properly—electric oven, induction hob, microwave and washing machine mean you can manage a real stay rather than just heating up takeaways. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wi-fi are all included. Outside, there is a large garden and private parking for two cars. No smoking inside. The cottage sleeps three altogether and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
