Burton Row - Knoll Cottage
Somerset
Knoll Cottage dates to the 16th century and retains the character of its age while offering modern comfort. The stone building has been comprehensively updated, with one bedroom upstairs and an open-plan living area on the ground floor, along with a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Essentials including electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided.
The bedroom contains a king bed and its own en-suite with bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs, the living space centres on a gas woodburner and includes a dining area and fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. French doors from the bedroom open onto a Juliet balcony. Outside, there is private parking for one car, bike storage and an enclosed courtyard with a private hot tub and garden furniture.
The cottage sits on Burton Row near Brent Knoll, with the National Trust hill and walking routes immediately accessible. The Somerset coast is three miles away, and Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Bath and Bristol are all within reasonable reach. A pub and restaurant are half a mile away. Children under 12 are not accommodated, and smoking is not permitted inside.
