Dragonfly 1 is a modern barn conversion reached by external staircase to a first-floor open-plan space. The living area has Freeview television and DVD player; the kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer; the bedroom holds a double bed (4ft 6in); and there is an ensuite shower room. The property sleeps two and comes as your own self-contained unit, though it can interconnect with Dragonfly 2 if a larger party needs both.

Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. You have use of a shared enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture, plus private parking for one car with additional spaces available nearby. An electric car charging point is on site. The barn sits in North Newton, a rural village between the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills, which became England's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Bridgwater-Taunton Canal runs through the village; Maunsel Lock nearby has tea rooms and boat trips. Walking and cycling routes thread through the surrounding countryside, and Exmoor National Park is within reach. North Petherton, with a range of shops, is about 2 miles away, and the Harvest Moon pub is 200 metres from the property. No smoking inside.
