Pipers Stable is a converted 17th-century cider barn on the edge of the Quantock Hills, a short drive from Fiddington. The whole property is yours alone: a ground-floor bedroom with kingsize bed, shower room, and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space that opens onto a private garden with patio. Everything needed for cooking is provided, including an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Underfloor heating keeps things warm, and bed linen and towels come with your stay.
The garden has space to sit and eat outside, with a barbecue if you want to cook there, and parking for two cars is on site. A pub is within a mile, and Watchet Harbour, Minehead and Porlock are all reachable for coastal days out. The Quantocks themselves offer walking routes ranging from gentle paths to longer hikes, and nearby villages have National Trust properties to visit. The property is for adults only, and smoking is not permitted.
