Romney Hut

Romney Hut is a standalone shepherd's hut on a 50-acre natural site in Somerset, sleeping three people in one bedroom with a sofa bed suitable for a child. The whole property is yours alone. Everything sits on the ground floor: an open-plan living area with a wood-burner and no television, a kitchen with an electric hob, and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wi-fi are included, as are logs for the burner. The bedroom has a 4ft 6in double bed and the sofa is single-sized.

A large garden with seating, furniture and a barbecue extends from the hut. There is parking for one car on site. The location puts a pub within walking distance—about ten minutes across the fields—and Taunton's shops and restaurants are roughly eight miles away. Doniford Bay beach lies eleven miles off. The surrounding landscape is the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. No smoking is permitted inside the property.
