Bishpool Farm Cottages - The Granary

The Quantock Hills draw walkers for their network of footpaths and bridleways, and this converted granary sits well positioned to explore them. Nearby pubs and cafés are reachable on foot, while Taunton's shops and restaurants lie about 8 miles away by car. The coast at East Quantoxhead, known for fossil hunting, is 11 miles off. Within an hour's drive are Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, Dunster Castle and Kilve beach.

The Granary occupies a single storey on a working farm, with an open-plan living space that includes a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a bedroom with a double bed. There is one bathroom with a shower over the bath. Everything sits at ground level. A washing machine is housed in an external utility room. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; gas for heating is too. Parking is on site.

The property has use of a shared games barn with snooker and table tennis, plus a barbecue area outside. Those with their own horse can arrange to use the paddocks and stables on the farm. Smoking is not permitted.
