What a fantastic corner of the world Tilbury Farm is! We stayed in Herdwick hut and had the most perfect weekend escape. The hut itself is gorgeous-really well equipped, nicely decorated and so cosy-the bed was incredibly comfortable! We loved the wood fired hot tub and I couldn’t get over the amount of wild life around, from rabbits and pheasants to owls and bats in the evening. Matt and Jenny were amazing hosts and the complimentary breakfast hamper of local produce was such a nice touch, as was the recommendation to try the local pub, The Rising Sun, for dinner. Thank you for such a wonderful stay-we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in the treehouse for 2 nights with our 2 and 7 year and we all absolutely loved it. Kids loved the outdoor bath, hot tub and all the wildlife. It’s finished to an immaculate standard. Everything very easy to use. Nice short walk to the local pub. Even in the heatwave the treehouse was well shaded and it was nice to sleep with all the windows and doors open to get the breeze. A superb stay. Matt is a lovely host and unlike some places he is very easy going and you can start relaxing straight away.

What a lovely hide away! We stayed in Tilbury View so had a fantastic view. Every morning we opened the bi-folding doors and watched the wild life while eating breakfast. We visited several lovely places in the local area , of which there are plenty. The hosts are helpful and accomodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Beautiful and peaceful location perfect to get away and unwind from it all. We had a lovely hamper on arrival and Matt the host could not have been more friendly and helpful. The view cottage has everything you need and we will definitely return in the near future.
