Exmoor National Park sits on your doorstep from Jasper, a two-bedroom cottage in Hawkridge positioned for immediate access to the moor's walking and cycling routes. Tarr Steps, Wimbleball Lake, and the villages of Dulverton, Dunster and Porlock are all within reach. The Dark Sky Reserve designation means clear nights reward stargazing from the garden.
The cottage holds four people across two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, one bedroom has a king bed and shower room; upstairs, a super king bed connects to a bath and shower. The first-floor living space is open-plan, with a wood-burning stove at its centre, a practical kitchen for self-catering, and comfortable seating arranged to face out across the moor. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; wood for the stove is provided to start with, and more is available locally.
A south-facing patio with garden furniture and a barbecue sits outside, and there is parking for two cars on site. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
