Rural Somerset surrounds Woodlet Cottage, a thatched property tucked into countryside that rewards walkers with numerous footpaths yet sits just a mile from Ilminster's shops and pubs. The village setting is quiet enough for a genuine break, accessible enough that you're not cut off.

Inside, the cottage has four bedrooms sleeping eight across two floors. The main bedroom features a freestanding roll-top bath; the others have showers. Downstairs holds a study, utility room with washer-dryer, and a ground-floor bedroom with wet room. Bed linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped for cooking properly—range, dishwasher, coffee machine and all—and opens into a dining space where the household can gather. The living room has a woodburner, a 55-inch smart TV and soundbar for quieter evenings. Underfloor heating runs throughout. Wi-Fi is available, and you'll find parking for four cars on site.

Outside, a terrace and orchard give space to sit or eat outdoors in warmer months. The whole property is yours alone; one well-behaved dog is welcome, but smoking is not. From here, Cheddar Gorge and Wells lie within an hour's drive.
