High Wardneuk works well for families with young children, couples wanting a break, or small groups of friends. The cottage has two bedrooms sleeping four: a kingsize in one room, two singles in the other. Ground floor living spaces include a sitting room with sea views and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals rather than heating takeaways. There's a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, and there's initial fuel for the woodburner too.

What sets this place apart is the hot tub for four on the private garden, accessed through an enclosed front area with seating. You get parking for two cars and a bike store if you want to explore locally. It's three miles from Prestwick itself. No smoking indoors, and a travel cot and highchair are available if you need them.
