Sandhill House is a substantial mansion set within nine acres of grounds, complete with stables and a sunroom, giving it the feel of a country estate rather than a conventional hotel. Sea views stretch out from parts of the property, and the gardens add to the sense of space around the building.
Rooms and suites are styled with a chic, contemporary edge, each with an en-suite bathroom, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Drinks can be brought to the room, breakfast is included, and free WiFi runs throughout. Reception operates around the clock, parking is free and on-site, and pets are welcome.
Royal Troon Golf Club lies nearby for golfers, while fishing and entertainment can also be found close by, along with pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out. Troon itself is a short distance away, making Sandhill House a practical base for exploring the town and coastline beyond the grounds.

Sandhill is located in its own grounds with views of the Royal Troon golf course and the coast. The room we stayed in was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Whilst retaining some older features in the bathroom. A perfect blend of modern and traditional. The breakfast was excellent with home made croissants on offer. Elaine the owner was very welcoming, warm and Informative about the amazing history of Sandhills and local amenities. Excellent value for money.

Sandhill House is perfect! Elaine & Peter are the perfect hosts. As soon as you arrive you feel welcomed and at home in this grand & beautiful building. Our suite was roomy, comfortable, and elegantly furnished, with views over the airport, which my husband would die for. The location quiet, with lovely Troon not far away. Elaine pointed me in the right direction for gift shops and was spot on. Breakfast was wonderful. Thank you Elaine & Peter, a wonderful stay you really are the best! Harry and Oakley enjoyed themselves too!

The full experience in this beautiful house is lovely. Breakfasts is delicious specially their croissants. Is our second time staying there and we will definitely go back. Elaine, the owner is very nice and attentive.

A stunning setting with a very helpful and accommodating owner. The property was spotless, the rooms were huge, and the service was fantastic. Fabulous breakfast - we enjoyed every moment of our trip. Excellent
