Kitty’s Cottage

Kitty's Cottage is a terraced house built in the traditional style of a Scottish seaside town, standing less than a quarter-mile from Girvan's sandy beach. The whole property is yours for the duration of your stay, with sleeping space for four across two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two singles. There is a single bathroom upstairs, and downstairs a living room with a television, dining room that opens to the back garden, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all the rest. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; parking is on the street outside.

Girvan itself is a working harbour town with a leisure centre, golf course, restaurants and pubs, and serves well as a base for the Ayrshire coast. Heading north takes you towards Ayr, Culzean Castle and the Burns Birthplace Museum. South, the coast road curves towards Stranraer and Portpatrick. One well-behaved dog can stay with you at no extra cost. The cottage does not permit smoking indoors. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
