Yonderton House

Ayr sits on the Ayrshire coast with all the amenities of a Victorian seaside town just 15 minutes away, yet Yonderton House occupies a quieter world—a working farm surrounded by countryside with 200 acres of natural grounds to explore. The house itself is a substantial detached property, built over two floors, accommodating up to 12 guests across six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Four bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities; the remaining two share a dedicated bathroom. One ground-floor bedroom means those who prefer to avoid stairs have full access to the accommodation without climbing.

The living spaces are generous: a spacious sitting room with multiple sofas and armchairs, a sunroom for quieter moments, and a kitchen for self-catering. Entertainment comes through an external games room (a converted double garage) equipped with table tennis, darts and board games. Outside, a large lawn with patio seating overlooks the grounds, and there are woodland walks to discover on the property itself. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered. One pet stays free, though animals must be kept on a lead as the farm keeps sheep. Parking accommodates five cars on site. The property does not permit smoking indoors.
