Beacon Cottage works well for families or small groups wanting a base near both Dartmoor and the Devon coast. The detached house has three bedrooms—a double, two singles, and a single—sharing one bathroom, and sleeps five. A two-minute walk takes you onto the moorland itself; the Two Moors Way starts directly behind the property. Ivybridge town centre is close by, with a leisure centre, pool, shops and supermarkets, while Ivybridge railway station sits a mile away for onward travel.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: electric oven, induction hob, Aga, microwave, dishwasher, and air fryer. Downstairs there's a living room with open fire, dining room and conservatory. A games room with table football sits outside. The garden has a decked area and terrace with furniture; disposable barbecues are available in summer. Parking is on site. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking throughout.
