Kingfisher is a single-storey lodge set within grounds that include three fishing lakes. The building is arranged on one level, with an open-plan living and dining area, a kitchen equipped for self-catering, and three bedrooms—one double and two rooms with single beds—served by a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials of heating, linen and towels are covered, and you have private parking for three cars on site.
A hot tub for six sits in the grounds, which are shared with other lodges. Coarse fishing is available on-site for those interested, as are walking routes through and around the property. The nearest pub, shop and restaurant are about two and a half miles away. Grantham town centre lies seven miles off, offering a mainline railway station with direct services to London, plus restaurants, shops and country pubs. The property is non-smoking. It sleeps up to six guests and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

What an amazing find this property is! We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay, the cottage has everything you need from beautiful wine glasses and soft towels to a large comfortable bed and complimentary beverages. The garden and river were an incredible bonus and so calm and quiet. The hosts are great at communicating and provided information about the surrounding area, what to visit and how to get there. I cannot recommend this property enough - thank you Julia and Steve for a lovely stay - we will certainly be back.
