Teal

Teal sits within grounds dotted with fishing lakes in the Lincolnshire countryside. The lodge is a single-storey property with everything on one level: an open-plan living and dining space with French doors onto the garden, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, one bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating throughout.

Outside, there's a patio area and access to shared sitting-out space with a barbecue and garden furniture. The on-site fishing is the real draw—coarse fishing across three lakes is available to guests staying here, with day passes available if you want to make a day of it. Grantham lies 7 miles away and has a mainline railway station if you need to reach London for the day, plus restaurants, shops and pubs for exploring locally. There's good walking and cycling from the doorstep. One small dog stays free.

Smoking is not permitted in the lodge. There is private parking for two cars on site.
