The Roost

South Kesteven's countryside around the River Glen holds several holiday properties set within generous grounds, and The Roost occupies a private corner with its own lawned garden and extensive patio. The hamlet sits roughly 9 miles from Stamford and 11 miles from Peterborough, putting it within reach of market towns, country pubs, and the walking and cycling routes that thread through the area.

Inside, the cottage spreads across two floors with three bedrooms—a double, a kingsize, and a twin—each with its own ensuite shower room and heated towel rail. The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen, and doors onto the garden. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for the burner are all included. There is private parking for three cars and an electric charging point on-site.

The grounds offer space to move: a 3-acre lawned setting with patio and seating areas, plus access to an additional 8 acres of enclosed land across the river with a riverside walk. A shared tennis court is available by arrangement. One dog stays free, and there is a dedicated enclosed area where dogs can run off-lead. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The property is non-smoking.
