The Sett is a single-storey lodge on a 3-acre estate beside the River Glen, with its own patio overlooking the water and surrounding fields. Everything you need for cooking and eating is here—electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge—along with a Freeview Smart TV, kingsize bed and shower room with heated towel rail. Essentials including wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered; a welcome pack is provided. One small dog stays free of charge.
The grounds include a lawned garden with sitting-out area, an enclosed dog run, and shared use of a tennis court. Fishing is available on-site (you'll need a licence). There's private parking for one car and an electric charging point. No smoking indoors. The nearby village of Baston has a pub and shop; Market Deeping is 3.5 miles away. Stamford, home to Burghley Horse Trials, lies 9 miles off, and Peterborough is 11 miles away, making this a useful base for exploring the area's country pubs, walks and cycle routes.
