Norfolk Holiday Lodges - Flag House
South Norfolk
View on Google MapsPhoto: Flag House
This double-storey house stands directly on the River Yare, in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Flag House is built to make the most of its water-edge position: large windows frame the river from nearly every room, and a decked terrace with garden furniture extends the living space outdoors. The property sleeps seven across three bedrooms—a super king with ensuite on the ground floor, another super king, and a bunk room with a double base and single above. There are two bathrooms, one en suite and one family bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath.
Ground-floor living is open-plan, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave), a dining area, and a sitting room with Freeview TV. Upstairs, a second living room with Juliet balconies provides a quieter retreat. The essentials are covered: wi-fi, electricity, bed linen, towels, and underfloor heating throughout. Parking for two cars is on site; one pet is welcome. Fishing is available directly from the grounds, with a bait fridge in the shed. Those bringing their own boat can use the private mooring or access the slipway by prior arrangement. The grounds include an unfenced river, so the property is best suited to families with older children or groups of adults. Buccaneer Boats Marina is nearby for additional water-based activities.
