South Norfolk's quieter edges hold this single-bedroom lodge, a ground-floor space built for two people and their dog. The open-plan living area has a smart TV and French doors onto the garden; the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; the bedroom holds a kingsize bed. An ensuite shower, underfloor heating, Wi-Fi and all linens are included. A log-fired hot tub sits in the private courtyard, enclosed by hedging and furnished for sitting out.
The lodge works well for couples wanting a break away without leaving their pet behind—dogs stay at no extra charge, and the garden is fenced. Local pubs within walking distance welcome dogs too. Marshland footpaths run through the surrounding area, good for exploring on foot. Private parking is available for two cars, and the whole property is yours alone during your stay. No smoking indoors.

Fabulous accommodation. The owners are very helpful. The set up is a perfect couples retreat and the hot tub is a lovely luxury feature. A really good place for a holiday in Norfolk.

My partner and I have just had a brilliant weeks stay at Peacock lodge. The owners gave us a lovely welcome and we're always happy to give us advice if needed. The lodge has everything we and our dog Alfie needed. The hot tub was great and easy to use. All the facilities are top notch, shower is very good, as is the dog shower outside. We loved the local pub, 20 mins walk away, and were made very welcome by all the local folk. We wouldn't hesitate to book this place again. Thankyou Judy and Gareth for everything. We will definitely return x

Eric and I checked in to Peacock Lodge in April of this year and were delighted with the design, layout and very thoughtful additions that made our short term stay, an absolute delight. The owners had thought of everything to make guests feel welcomed and at home. Whilst I didn't make use of the private hot tub, my Husband did and as he spent nearly two hours basking in it, this bonus treat was also awarded 5 stars from him. We have a very good friend who lives close by so the location of Peacok Lodge was perfect for our stay. We also loved the fact that whilst the accommodation was dog friendly, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for guests who don't have four legged fur babies travelling with them. We would certainly book with Peacock Lodge again. Highly recommended.

Sublime Venue Peacock Lodge is very well equipped and in first class condition. The hosts can not do enough for you. The lodge is situated within a great rural location with plenty of walks on the doorstep. If your interested in wildlife then there's a few surprises here. I would definitely use this place again and highly recommend. Dog friendly, good pub within walking distance and close to the beach (12 min drive) to Hopton as well as the local towns. 😀😁👍
