Really interesting place. Well worth a visit especially if your related. A family tree going back to the 1600's was unearthed as we shown documents not normally on display. Went to see the grave / memorial in Chard Cemetery just round the corner to show our respects.

Fantastic museum with enthusiastic staff members which were all wonderful. We got a tour that was 10/10. We were even given a cup of coffee free. Certainly recommend going for a visit , you’ll be surprised how many famous people were in chard. The famous 5 as they are known. 😊👍🏻

A truly wonderful museum. So many interesting facts about the town of Chard. Great exhibits. The staff were wonderful, helpful and full of information regarding the town.
