About Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl
Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl overlooks the cricket ground itself, and a good number of the hotel's 171 rooms make the most of it, with views across the pitch or the neighbouring golf course. It's a modern base on Botley Road, well placed for reaching Hedge End and the M27, and set up as much for business as for leisure with meeting rooms and business services alongside more relaxed extras like a spa, sauna and gym.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, and family and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. Breakfast is served on site, and the restaurant and bar offer food that guests rate highly, though service at busier times has been known to slow down. Room service and drinks in room are options for anyone who'd rather not leave their room at all.
Staff are frequently described as friendly and accommodating, and the hotel covers most practical bases: lift access, luggage storage, laundry service, concierge, and chargeable on-site parking with an electric vehicle charge point. Golf, fishing and entertainment are all nearby, and pets are welcome, making it a flexible option for a range of visits to Southampton.

A handily placed Hilton just north of Southampton. If you were at an event it is on the doorstep. I was lucky it was quiet yet even then, the car park was really full so if there fad been abmn event, this could give been a problem. The room was fine with aircon that worked well. The breakfast was very good and had some nice bits that are not always available like fish based items in the chiller. Staff helpful abd cheerful.

I’ve been staying at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl regularly for over 16 months due to its convenience for my business in the area, but it’s the incredible team that keeps me coming back time and time again. The level of service is consistently outstanding—every single member of staff goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable experience. It’s rare to find such a dedicated and friendly team. In the restaurant and bar, Jana, Brittany, and Magdalena always have everything running smoothly, and Iain and Michael not only pour a fantastic pint but are always up for a great chat—especially if you fancy talking football with Michael! At breakfast, Dominika knows my routine, which is a wonderful personal touch. At reception, Alka and Ria are always smiling and set the tone from the moment you arrive—with a slightly mischievous sense of humour that always makes check-in more enjoyable. Adam is a fantastic problem solver, and Karen’s cheeky chat adds a bit of fun to the experience. Lucia is incredibly helpful with speciality bookings, always going the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. The Hilton Honors evening is always the extra mile, especially thanks to Ben Bushell. Nothing is ever too much trouble for anyone here, and that’s what truly sets this hotel apart. Whether it’s the room, restaurant, bar, or even the car park, there’s always someone ready to help with a great attitude. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel with its exceptional team delivering an exceptional experience every time.

Had lunch in Beefy’s restaurant before watching the Women’s T20 World Cup games. The food was amazing, beautifully prepared and very tasty. The menu was varied and full of interesting dishes and the service was excellent. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and nothing was too much trouble. It was a lovely start to a great day out. Thank you
