What guests say
I came here on a business trip for my music gigs across the south coast, the hotel is immaculate especially for the value and you cant expect much with an express hotel but it was genuienly outstanding. The service was also great, my husky (bubba), was well welcomed in the hotel and treated by the lovely employee Jake, who went out of the way for both of our demands 😅. Bubba was even allowed in the hotel restaurant which was also great. The buffet is also complimentary and is great value within the price. The hotel rooms accommodated us well and i was very pleased by the cleanliness of it. The receptionist was great, I think her name was Eileen. Overall my stay at the holiday inn express was great and will be my go to choice from now on.

Yeah so . . Not amazing tbh. Black mould in the shower. Room was dated. Locking chain on the door was broken. Ants on my table and other tables in the "restaurant" so basically not great. Air conditioning also made a noise but didn't do much tbf. Staff were nice enough and food was ok (not going to win awards but editable and hot). The final unhappy note was that despite paying for a room in the hotel they then charge you more to park in the car park. I can understand charging others who are not staying in the hotel but those who have paid money to stay in the hotel then need to also pay more to park! It is a bit excessive when the hotel itself isn't great.

We stayed here overnight for my daughter’s 1st birthday as part of our trip to Paultons Park. Chelsea the general manager approached us at breakfast to inform us of a crash on the M27 which was causing delays in getting to the park. After interacting with my little one and finding out it’s her birthday, she came back a few mins later with a cake and a candle, singing happy birthday with 3 other staff members. It was a lovely gesture and made both of my daughters very happy! The staff also left a card and balloons in the room when we checked in. Reception and restaurant staff were all lovely, check in process quick and easy, and the room was fresh and clean. Thank you so much.

Used twice now for an overnight stop before heading for the cruise terminal. Good location, superb that you leave your car for the duration of your holiday and not to have to leave your car key. Excellent taxis service to and from the terminal. Good breakfast, staff always helpful and polite. There's a few wear and tear mark's around to hotel but that's only to be expected with a hotel that's in constant use. Will definitely use again in the future.

The very friendly, helpful, and efficient staff are frequently mentioned, and while the convenient parking is appreciated, it is often a paid amenity.
Some reviews mention the parking can be expensive.
