I went with the veg menu was left disappointed. While the rose lassi was delicious, the masala chai had a strong gingery flavour which made it difficult for me to enjoy. The bottom plate of the afternoon tea was the most enjoyable but i found the fried chilli spicy. The khaman was soft amd warm but the desserts at the top were average. I was celebrating an achievement so the staff gave me a free red velevet cake. However, the cake was extremely dry and very hard to cut through, and I'm pretty sure it was straight from a fridge. The venue was gorgeous and the atmosphere is very quiet but the food was absymal for that price. All in all, please avoid thos place for afternoon tea.

We had the vegetarian afternoon tea as a special treat. The place was relatively quiet, about a dozen customers. The food was fine and enough for each of us but the service was not attentive, each time I had to grab someone's attention to get a chai refill, the chai was not great. The food was average, desserts were disappointing. Good job I had booked an offer, paying £50 per head is not worth, even at half the price we could have got a better Indian afternoon tea elsewhere in London.

First the good part of it - nice ambience and polite service. The rose lassie was delicious. The bhel and dhokla were yummy. The chai and lassi were bottomless. That is where it ends. The food wasn't fresh. The samosa was slightly salty and so was the chutney. The sweets variety was a pity with a laddoo and a western sweet thrown in!! The sabudana wada could not even be cut with a knife (so probably reheated a few times). For the price I expected better!! They would not even allow us to take away the left overs which is a norm at most other afternoon tea places. So avoid! Find somewhere else for an afternoon tea.

Had the vegan afternoon tea. Was really disappointed when I found out they do not do a masala chai ( vegan). I asked for an oat latte instead. The setting is beautiful and the service was really good. You are allowed as many refills as you want. My friends also got lassi but I couldn’t as they didn’t have a vegan version. One of my 2 desserts consisted of some chopped up apple. My friend did inform them 2 days before our visit of my dietary requirements so I was expecting a bit more effort. It was a lovely treat though and service was lovely.
