An authentic Thai noodles place in London. Generous portion. Had Yai chicken is crispy and juicy pairing well with carefully selected white wine frome France. I tried the lemongrass drop cocktail as well. It was refreshing. Pairing with the noodles with strong thick soup is also a good combination. Lastly, the dessert, homemade sticky rice with the custard is a must to try 10 out of 10 👍👍👍

A good Thai spot with flavourful food. The menu initially felt a bit limited, but once seated, it was a nice touch to be able to view photos of the dishes via QR code - helpful when deciding - and the recommended items highlighted in red made ordering easier. We started with the deep-fried chicken, which was very good -crispy, well-seasoned, and exactly what you’d hope for. The prawn dumplings, recommended by the waiter, were also enjoyable, though slightly sweeter than expected, which may not be to everyone’s taste. The standout was the Sen Su Kho Thai - a noodle soup with roast pork, dried shrimp, and fish balls. It had a real depth of flavour, and while definitely on the spicy side, the layers in the broth came through beautifully, making it a very satisfying dish. There were a couple of drawbacks. Some menu items weren’t available, which was a bit surprising given the location, and many dishes leaned quite heavily on coriander - something to keep in mind if you’re not a fan. Overall, a solid experience with good flavours and a few standout dishes, just missing a bit of consistency and variety to push it higher.

I had the most incredible experience at Slurp Noodles in Spitalfields, London. The food was absolutely phenomenal- no words can fully capture how delicious it was. What really stood out was the range of unique noodle dishes—options like nam tok, yen ta fo, and nam sai—things you just don’t find in typical Thai restaurants. They also have rice dishes like khao man gai and braised pork leg with rice—such a rare find. The price is moderate—not too cheap, but definitely worth it for the quality. Just keep in mind, it does get pretty busy, especially on weekends or peak times, so a reservation is a good idea. During weekdays, I didn’t need one, and the staff were super attentive, friendly, and detail-oriented. Plus, if you speak Thai, they can communicate with you easily. And don’t forget to check out the bathroom—it’s a lovely spot you pass by the underground bar, which is super photogenic. I’ve been a fan since their Soho branch closed, and the Spitalfields location is just as special, right near Liverpool Street. I can’t wait to return!
