About Arches B&B
A sunroom is the standout feature at Arches B&B, a small Victorian house on Bodmin Road in St Austell. With just three rooms, it has the feel of a relaxed, personally run stay rather than a large hotel, and each room comes with its own minifridge for keeping drinks or snacks close at hand.
Breakfast is included, and free WiFi is available throughout, while free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward. Pets are welcome too, so the B&B suits guests travelling with a dog as easily as those on their own.
St Austell puts guests within reach of Cornwall's well-known attractions, including the Eden Project, making Arches B&B a practical base for exploring the area without the frills of a larger establishment.
What guests say
After searching for a break away the choices were north (Scotland) or south, the weather sealed the decision and we ended up booking into the Arches. Nikki was the most amazing host and has so much time for everyone she meets. Great with people and the best poached eggs I've ever had! Would return just for those!! Merlin is adorable and really adds to the homely feel. Whilst the parking is not for the faint hearted, it was great to have some available! Great location for the town centre or escaping to other parts of Cornwall. The views are fantastic also. Thank you for making our stay a magical one. X

Stayed here from Friday through to Monday, made to feel extremely welcome by host Nicky and her well behaved dog Merlin. We stayed in the green room, spacious and a lovely 4 poster bed. Breakfast was 10/10 hot and tasty and i am fussy with food. This place is unique, and felt like home from home. Parking is available but up a narrow driveway, not for nervous drivers. Location is great for going places like Eden project, Land's End or Newquay. We look forward to visiting Nicky and Merlin in the near future, thanks for having us.

A nice, basic B&B with comfy beds and a lovely breakfast. Nikki is a lovely host. The rooms are lovely and clean, and old fashioned, as it is the hosts taste. This is a dog friendly accommodation, with Merlin, the resident alsation assist dog, being the star of the show. Parking is precarious but handy. If you want a spa boutique hotel, then go elsewhere. This is a good old fashioned B&B, in a great location for getting about.

We stayed here for 3 nights, we had such a lovely time at this B&B. Was a great location to everything we were wanting to do. The B&B also has parking (not for nervous drivers) but is away from the road which is a huge benefit. Merlin the shepherd was also an extra benefit to the B&B making sure you don't forget where the biscuit tin is! Nikki the owner was helpful with any recommendations we needed and was always a pleasure to speak with. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.
