⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We visited The Lifeboat Inn in St Ives while on holiday last week, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, and the service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout. The real star of the show was the fish and chips. I can genuinely say they were the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked fish with crispy, golden batter, delicious crispy chips, and generous portions. There were three of us dining together, and we all agreed that every meal was excellent. It's not often that everyone at the table is equally impressed, but The Lifeboat Inn certainly achieved that. If you're visiting St Ives and looking for great food, lovely service, great surroundings, a view of the sea and an all-round enjoyable dining experience, I would highly recommend a visit. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Cornwall! Thank you to the team for a memorable meal!

Just enjoyed a week at St ives. Popped into the lifeboat several times. Lots of space, relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Can't fault the place. Enjoyed the Bingo night, special mention for Katie who made so much effort with my two young children who won on the bingo. We also booked a meal here on our final night. Although a limited menu, the food was great and the service was quick. Definitely worth a visit if you are in St ives.

Booked a two night break thurs-Saturday, stayed in room 5 , no view as on the side of the building but that was fine as your only a few steps from the sea wall as soon as you step out and probably slightly quieter in peak season . Bed very comfy , lovely size room and bathroom , very clean and tidy , only reason I haven’t given a 5 star the water pressure in the bathroom was low so shower a little disappointing and the front door to accommodation seemed to be unlocked all night although we all had main door key and room key . I found that a little unsettling but then maybe St Ives isn’t like my home town 🤣 . Breakfast was lovely with enough options to please all , we also ate in the bar in the evening and the meals we had were lovely . Staff were all friendly and professional. All in all would happily recommend and will more than likely return to The Lifeboat Inn .

Cool English Pub. Friendly, busy atmosphere. Excellent location, walk everywhere. Meals and breakfast were excellent. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Extremely steep stairs up to the rooms, beware of you have a lot of luggage. And there is no carpark nearby. You'll need to drop off luggage, check-in, then take the car to the train station to pay for overnight parking at £11.50, and walk back to the Inn, around 600 metres.
