Trevalgan Touring Park

B3306, Saint Ives TR26 3BJ, UK

A quiet, award-winning touring site two miles from St Ives in the AONB

About Trevalgan Touring Park

Trevalgan Touring Park sits around two miles west of St Ives on working farmland within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, giving it a noticeably quieter and more rural feel than sites closer to town. Open from May to September, it has built a loyal following for its well-kept pitches, underfloor-heated shower and toilet block, and the coastal scenery on its doorstep, with the South West Coast Path and Zennor's cliffs within easy walking distance.

The park keeps its facilities deliberately simple rather than resort-style, focusing on spacious touring and camping pitches, reliable electric hookups where required, and genuinely warm, well-maintained washing facilities rather than a pool or entertainment complex. WiFi is available across the site, and a children's play area covers the basics for families. A private bus service runs from the park entrance into St Ives during the season, removing the need to drive in and hunt for parking in the town's tight streets. Since 2026 the park has increased its dog allowance to up to three dogs per pitch, making it a strong option for visitors travelling with multiple pets who want direct access to dog-friendly coast path walking.

Outstandingly maintained and spacious site. Facilities were plentiful and very very clean and accessible. During time at the site we spoke to staff (Becky and Steve) who couldn’t help us enough. Have advice on places to visit and the use of on site bus service into St Ives. My wife was on crutches and they offered several times to help carry various items between shop and amenities. Highly recommend this location

Cornwall’s Rudest Campsite – A Must-Visit for Fans of Terrible Customer Service! If you’ve ever thought, “I wish my camping holiday began with a telling-off instead of a hello,” then Trevagaler is the place for you. The experience starts the moment you arrive. We barely had time to stop and ask how to check in before being greeted—not with a smile or even a “good afternoon”—but with a reprimand for stopping. Five stars for commitment to the bit. The customer service throughout was impressively consistent. Every simple question seemed to be treated as an outrageous inconvenience. Need directions? Fancy asking something about the campsite? Prepare yourself for a response that suggests you’ve personally ruined someone’s day. Special mention goes to the old blonde lady who ‘greeted’ us, whose unwavering dedication to looking thoroughly unimpressed deserves recognition. Even asking if we could drive a little closer to our pitch to unload was met as though we’d requested permission to pave over the campsite. It’s genuinely refreshing to see a business so committed to making guests feel like they’re interrupting. They never once broke character. If your ideal holiday includes frosty interactions, spectacular grumpiness and an unforgettable lesson in how not to do customer service, this is an absolute must-visit! An experience we certainly won’t forget.

A perfect spot! Super friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked shop with local farm produce. Immaculate surroundings, site and facilities. A short walk (45 mins) along the coastal path to St Ives. Or a bus services runs hourly from reception! A great place to visit! 10/10

We was camping and it’s luxury class camping with everything provided- dog area with full water to drink and shower with warm water for dogs as well, poo bags! All nice and clean all the time! Even private shower rooms are floor heated!! Minuses is that staff all the time every day explaining that dogs must be on leash all the time(but they was) Cleaners start to work lately in the morning so u can’t use some toilets as they all busy or closed by staff, and location is little bit far from town and sea but good thing is that a bus going every our! Games room was small and old system with coins and at the end all stuck inside😅 Good play area and football field as well, no fridges just freezer Thanks so much👏❤️all the best
