The campsite is pretty small and has three showers and two toilets for campers and a couple of showers / toilets for the those glamping. We stayed in our caravan with electric, the pitch was fairly level and approx 7m x 10m so plenty big enough. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful and had a big screen set up for the England game V Norway. Only one complaint is that there is a slight smell from the chemical waste point 15 minute drive to beaches and the same for supermarket, so the location is good enough for us, but no pubs nearby. Come away thinking we will come back here again.

We had an amazing stay at The Pretty Thing Campsite! From the moment we booked, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole process smooth and welcoming. During our stay, they regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which really made a difference. The firepits were an added extra if you needed them. The toilets and showers were also very clean. I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone visiting Clacton, it’s a fantastic place with such a warm atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Very friendly family staff, clean facilities and nice showers. Great location and not too busy. Loved the community fridge. Great eco friendly lighting. Could have replenished the toilet roll more.

Really nice place. Some kind visitors from previous week had blocked chemical disposal point with wet wipes! When owners told they sorted it. As end of season it was a little difficult to get hold of them but when we did they were very helpful. They were not checking and cleaning the site each day but did allow us to stay an extra day even though closed.
