About Smugglers Cove by Marstons Inns
Smugglers Cove by Marstons Inns suits families and couples after an easy, no-fuss seaside stay rather than a luxury escape. With 38 rooms including family options and en-suite bathrooms, it works well for groups travelling together who want their own space but still want everything under one roof.
Rooms come with air conditioning and drinks available in-room, and the hotel offers free on-site parking along with an electric vehicle charge point for those arriving by car. Clacton-on-Sea itself is close by, with walking areas, fishing and watersports nearby for anyone wanting to get outdoors, plus further pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach for evenings out. It's a hotel built around convenience and location rather than extras, making it a sensible base for exploring the seafront and surrounding town.

Some reviews mention the rooms can be poorly maintained.
